Grace, you did so much with such wonderful color and shades within your imasgery. Truly a good read. >KB
Grace, I love this poem. Has me reading it again and again. Reminds me of ee Cummings in a way. Restless and unknotted, really great word play mixed in with the colors.
A wide array of colours here. The climaxing of apple leaves, magenta fire storm, bleeding rose- some wonderful images. And that touch of sensuality makes it a lovely piece. :-)-HA
Very cool bleeding rose with no thorn and knots gone after the seeping in. How that must feel to a leaf who gets to experience it once! What a way to go! And not alone!
Wow! Sexy colors - ripe for the taking - very sensuous and sensual - good stuff! I want to eat it up.
Oh, this is deep, vibrant, and rich. Completely autumnal, until that sneak of spring. So well done.
skin darkly yellowed & smoked... that line couldn't be more fitting of what I'm going through with my mom
painted in sensuous colors...quite a poem... well done
whew....now those are colors... violet ash black, magenta fire storm, deep rusted orange ....ah i can feel those...
Beautiful and perfect for Fall Heaven, I've noticed so many leaves falling recently, it's speeding up!
You found the passion, romance, & richness within the prompt, and then you wrapped it in a unique form, which made me race through once, and then remount for a second ride. Liked the line /words, keen & deadly came kneeling/ thanks.
Oh my goodness, THIS is what poetry IS. How lush and wondrous.
So very powerful, absolutely brilliant, unctious and rich.
so vivid, personal, sensuous, perfect
Oooo! Very nice. Loved the flow of this!
Sensuous for sure there today at your lair, great word choices too, hope no real amputated comes due lol
shades of colour I never knew....
gorgeous... I love the form& I (a thorn, perhaps) am already "thirsty for spring's greening"
...there's a dance of colours in your piece that are so engaging to read... i loved the use of 'riotous' here... smiles...
So earthy, I could taste the colors you paint here. Grace, you sure know how to make use of words, tie them together in a way that stays in my mind. Lovely.
wow...the pulsing of the colors and hues there toward the end...the thirst for that new life....into a kiss....very nice grace....vivid
As always, very sensuous & passionate ... using colors vividly to describe strong emotions :)
was going to use the word 'earthy' too....this is rich and lovely and sensual and full of life, loving, longing...always the budding hope with it..;)
Phew...those colours really have some energy in this...beautifully and sensuously written!
Unusual colours, unusual expression of love, this poem truly 'seeped into my bones and cracks' - thank you!
in love your imagery. :) very powerful and strong. brilliant lines.
Gorgeous, filled with beauty and emotion.
You really used those colors to capture all the feelings
Ha-- a very sensual poem -- the apple leaves feel like there are apples beneath them (as in apples of knowledge, etc.) Very clever. Thanks, Grace. k.
Very evoking images with colors. Nice!
colours of life and autumn go side by side
Enjoyed the entire poem, Grace; but really loved the last three lines. Hope you are having a great Sunday!
Oh wow...every line is a gem! And what I beautiful closing:Kissme, restless & unknottedYou
"restless and unknotted / you"... i love that. and the fact that we both talked about roses.
A scrumptuous read-- and I love how you ended it "You"-- it brings the reader from inside to out, from closed to open. Wonderful imagery ~peace, Jason
I love that image and you weave such magic with your words bring color to life.
wow! so vivid and the rhythm brings out those plush shades!
Very poetic, sensual, and I feel for defenceless rose...no thorns....~ colors - amazing!
"appled leaves climaxing before dying" - That was my favorite verse! It was the life cycle of the leaf summed up in five words. Well done. As always, thank you. Have a beautiful week!
Succulent with passionate imagery. Gorgeous Grace.
You have a sensual touch with words and images...
Thanks for your visit and comments ~ I appreciate them ~
