Love at the Movies

You  say    I  am  your   lucky  charm
Searching to find me through great lengths
But  I  found  tenderness  and  strength
I'm  the   lucky  one  in  your  arms

~0~0

Inside  me  lives an  old  woman
Pared, sliced and left in bitter wine
But you catch me, unwrapping twine
Piercing  icy core, my  bowman

~0~0

There are second chances we take
With our  vows,  a  kiss  renews
Our journey, fresh morning dew
when we say YES, our love remakes

Posted for Imaginary Garden with Real Toads:   Envelopes and Mary's Mixed Bag - Let's Go to the Movies.   I relax watching romance and comedy films, specially on weekends.   If  the movie makes me cry, its a good movie  :-)   Have a good weekend ~

  2. I love that you've chosen Nicholas Sparks movies for illustration :) You know I love me romantic movies! He sold two new books for movie adaptation so there will be new romantic films for us in the future too :)

    1. The guy knows how to sell and market his books though not all of them are deeply profound. Romance movies, along with children movies and action movies, have its share of audience, like you and me ~

Thanks for the visit Dez ~

  3. Yes Man wasn't a bad one, and I've given a few of those lovey dovey ones a run. Our love remaking, yes, loving remakes, heck no. They can stuff their actual movie remakes, haha

  10. I don't mind crying in movies either. I have cried in a few lately. Namely "Bully" and "The Descendants." I love the lines, "When we say YES, our love remakes." YES, YES, YES!

  17. I like the first and second here best--I think they also have the most pleasant sound--but all are well done to form, and make a tender love poem as well.

  18. Wonderfully done, kiddo. Wow. I love movies that make me cry too:)

  19. Very nice. You accomplished a lot of things in that poem that I couldn't do. You incorporated multiple movie titles, and your tight poem structure is something I can never do with any positive results. Great write.
