Thank you

no hummingbirds nor

red roses garden outside
my glass window

no blue oceans nor
colourful Christmas parade
my street

no turkey laden feast nor
polished silverware set
my table

   but my heart is full
blessings from
friends and family

days, bold & exciting
nights, young & passionate

with grateful heart

thank you for inspiring me

Also Thank You to everyone leaving encouraging comments, and giving me "awards".   I have created a page, Compliments From Friends, to show my appreciation.

  21. I think it's funny that you thank us for inspiring you, when the way you've written this post inspired me to write mine. It's not the first time.

    Now it's my turn.

I want to say a huge "Thank you" for the support and encouragement you've shown me this year with my writing, and for the gift of yours. You make me think and turn me on. Send blood raging through my veins with your content, set my heart aflutter with your eloquence.

My wish, as it has been for some time, is to know more of the person behind the poetry. While this will probably never happen, I'll continue to swim in the incredible imagery you paint each time you take fingers to keyboard.

Barry, thank you for your support too. I believe I reveal a little (or a whole lot) of myself from my postings. But who knows, someday our paths will cross ~
