Messy

sweet cream drips
all over our shirts

hands sticky
cheeks stickier

this isn't easy
as we synchronize
our tongues lapping

me here, you there

until we get to the last piece,
which you gallantly offer me

we have learned two things:
messy ain't bad,
and giving in,

is the best way to keep us going

  7. Awe. As long as the giving in is not always one sided. But even if it is, this couple looks like giving in isn't so bad. Very nice write!

  16. Lovely 55 and a joy to share your joy!

Mr.Trellis and I sometimes start nibbling from one end each of a frankfurter sausage. Not so messy - but results in a meeting of minds with but a single thought
