Tanka: Dancing under the moon

under fog-lit moon
the dance of your fingertips
on my skin is spring,
unfolding petals white & peach
rain-rippled, silk with desire

Sparks

words unspoken
crackle the air crisp as magnolia
tangy as first apple bite
you entice me with a dream's glimpse:
your voice twining with moon's lilt
daring me to follow you
wings wild & untangled
as rain flower

flint the fire's undertow
strike the static canvas to deep-vowel blue
softer than water-
                                         us
